I’ve been DoP on all three series of Rich Beyond My Wildest Dreams, produced by Acast Creative and filmed at the Weber Shandwick Studio in London.
Built around long-form conversations, the series needs to feel polished without the photography getting in the way. Across the three series I’ve developed and maintained the visual approach, lighting the studio and working with a multi-camera setup that gives the conversations room to develop naturally.
I’ve worked with the Acast team throughout the series, with all production crew supplied through Gobo Media.
It’s a good example of the kind of work I particularly enjoy — creating a strong, repeatable look and then refining it over a series rather than reinventing it each time.
The series has gone on to become Acast’s number one branded podcast of all time, generating more than 9.3 million social video views, 600,000 full-episode views and listens, and 81,000 social engagements.
Acast also reported 6.2 million minutes listened, a further 3.4 million minutes watched on YouTube, and an average podcast listen-through rate of 84%. The wider campaign contributed to an 11% increase in EuroMillions brand consideration and a 10% year-on-year rise in sales during the campaign period.
The campaign also won Best Brand Partnership or Sponsorship at the Audio Advertising Awards.
